We the people. Pretty much every American is familiar with those three words. Or so I’d like to think. Patriots are sure familiar with it. Have you ever put any thought into that little phrase? Where did it come from? Who is it referring to? What does it mean? Let’s take a quick look at it.
We the people. It’s actually a quite powerful combination of words. It was a boom-boom-boom revolutionary salvo fired against the forms of government known to humanity up to the point they were penned by the 1787 Constitutional Convention that was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from May 25 (when the drafting began) to September 17 (when it was signed by the delegates.) Although James Madison is credited for being the author, the actual document produced for signing was literally written by an assistant clerk named Jacob Shallus (not a delegate,) who happened to have beautiful penmanship. But more importantly, the document was the result of the Constitutional Convention… in which twelve states were represented (Rhode Island boycotted) (Which really irritated George Washington) by fifty five men… (Those considered Founding Fathers that were not present were Richard Henry Lee, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Samuel Adams, and John Hancock.) Pennsylvania delegate Gouverneur Morris has been credited with writing the majority of the document’s final text, including the preamble. Of which we find our three little words to be the very first words.
“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
With those three words “we the people”, the fifty five delegates proclaimed the unity of the people of the twelve states they represented to authorize the Constitution they developed for governing the nation of united sovereign states that actually made the federal governing body subject to the people. This was truly revolutionary. Revolutionary in that they did not go by the old ways of having a king (dictator) set over them and superseded the closest to freedom known at the time as democracy in which a majority rules. This government that was ordained and established as written limits the power of government and protects individual rights. Fortified with the ratification of the Bill of Rights four years later in 1791… which is the first ten amendments to the Constitution. These were needed to address the concerns raised by Anti-Federalists types. And thusly a true republic was formed.
Funny how the true definition is actually the third listed in this definition instead of first. Almost as funny as how so many people are deceived into thinking this nation’s form of government is a democracy.
No… I guess it ain’t funny. Not so funny all.
Notice it doesn’t read, “we the citizens of the United States.” That should make a bigger impact of those that understand at least somewhat the scam concerning birth certificates. The document reads, “we the people”… “of the United States”… are doing these things listed in the writing. So few see the responsibility of “we the people.” When a person or group does something, do they not own it? Are they not responsible for their actions? Well maybe not so much as we see today, but that is how it is for those living an honest life-style. It does boil down to integrity. And doesn’t pagan thinking corrupt integrity with the selfishness of that doctrine? It’s only selfish thinking that causes people to not want to be involved in politics, rationalizing themselves away from the responsibility needed to secure liberty for all. We are currently enduring the disastrous results of the inaction of too many for too long.

We’ve covered… somewhat… where “we the people” came from and who it is referring to. So what does it mean? What “we the people” represents is a unified body of people. It reminds me of the ancient Greek word, ekklesia. (I had to check to see if I spelled that correctly it’s been so long since I’ve used it!) A summoned, or a “called out of” (as Bullinger defines it) people. Translated many times as “church” in the King James Version of the Bible. It was the people of this land in that time that did something revolutionary in the history of the world and took on the responsibility of self-governing. Which does require integrity and commitment to it. That there be peace in the land. For protecting the innocent from evil. As it is written in scripture…
- But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
- Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
- For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
- According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
- 1 Timothy 1:8-11
This nation was set up for we the people… a people united with a common cause of ensuring liberty to ourselves and our offspring… to govern ourselves. But alas… not so long after the ratification of the U.S. Constitution, the unity of the people came under attack by people doing what was not intended by too few of the Founding Fathers. Including this nation’s first President George Washington who, it is said… to have favored the U.S.A.’s first political party, the Federalist Party (1790s-1820s), led by 2nd President John Adams, and originally formed to support the fiscal and banking policies of President Washington’s Secretary of Treasurer Alexander Hamilton. Washington himself remained unaffiliated during his two terms as President, having the desire to have a more “enlightened administration”… free of political parties. This was something new… a political party. In fact, it was about a couple of decades after the Federalist Party came to be when they appeared in England. And then other western governments. It was something James Madison warned about in The Federalist #10 where he addressed “the mischief of faction.” Ironically, it was this same Madison that helped to raise up an anti-Federalist opposition movement, which was established as the Democrat-Republican Party, led by Thomas Jefferson. Who… after his Cabinet position resignation (under the Washington Presidency)… had urged James Madison to go after Alexander Hamilton in the press. Which Madison did under a pen name. It is a fascinating read… these people who were once united against England’s rule over them and went on to agree by a document stating they would “form a more perfect Union”… and then to see them become so divided on how to go about it. On the policies to be adopted. And as I read it, much of it had to do with promoting the general welfare. By way of the economy. By trade. By money. Hamilton, President Washington’s Secretary Treasurer, wanted… and ended up getting… a national bank. Jefferson, the Secretary of State, also in Washington’s cabinet… opposed it. Jefferson saw Hamilton’s desired financial policies as favoring the north over the south.
Just thought I’d throw that “north over the south” thing in there. Could that have been future division being sown? As I understand it, although it’s reported there’s no record of Jefferson belonging to a lodge, it is rumored he was a Freemason. Which again… as I understand it… was being infiltrated by the Illuminati in these years.

It was with these first differences on policies when division was sown amongst the people, has continued to this day, and has deepened over the years… but driven purposefully so for a little more than the last one hundred years across all of our culture. It is evident to those with eyes to see that the Serpent Seed are hell-bent on their enslavement of humanity. There is no place for a strong America in their plans for the New World Order. We dare to believe we are free. This cannot be tolerated!
As the saying goes, eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. I’ve told folks for decades the blame for the slide into socialism we’ve been in doesn’t lie at the fault of the politicians as much it lies with the people that keep allowing these corrupt politicians to hold the seat they do from where they launch their attacks on our liberty and steal our prosperity. But then, most of those years I believed we had a mostly secure election process. The two prevalent political parties today most of us have learned is really just two sides of the same coin, pursuing riches and power for themselves at the cost of the people, giving us theatrics for what they take.
However… we live in a time…at a point in history… when the people are uniting once again for the cause of individual liberty, limited government and economic prosperity by holding to the document drafted and agreed upon by those in pursuit of the same cause two hundred thirty six years ago in Philadelphia. Regardless of the seemingly massive infiltration of sold out traitors in high places of influence (that are painstakingly slowly being smoked out,) The Awakening continues to expand. The people are waking up. Also seemingly painstakingly slow as well, but it is happening. We the people are breaking the spells cast on us. We see the deception and the deceivers. We see their crimes. We see their attempts to enslave us.
I swear… it’s like having night vision!

We are uniting again as a people for freedom.
It’s like 1776 all over again!
