Since my last week’s Sunday Morning post, I’ve ran across a few posts by a few Anons that have many more subscribers than I, addressing what I would call impatience in the ranks. People that are at least aware of the “invisible enemy” becoming discouraged due to the perceived lack of ground gained in this war. This is nothing new. For those of us that have broken out of the denominational ways of thinking and have tasted the sweetness of truth by way of the rightly divided Word of God, having stood on that truth for decades doing what we can to bring others to an understanding that they might be freed from the mental enslavement of this world’s deceptions and have taken the abuse of rejection and/or ridicule this is nothing more than normal when dealing with any number of people on any subject that goes against the grain of what is accepted by the world. Some… if not the majority of folks… until otherwise rectified… will always base their expectations on their own desires and limited understanding. They become impatient when what they want to see come to pass doesn’t manifest fast enough for their comfort. And that there just might be the cause of their impatience. They don’t want to be taken out of their comfort zone any further. I say any further as those of us that have red pilled concerning the evil that has ran rampant in the shadows have had to wander outside our comfort zone to realize and face this evil. We know it’s not easy. Personally, I couldn’t sleep the night after I learned what was going on with the children that go missing. I couldn’t work the next day. After pouring my heart out concerning this situation that morning on fb I cried for the victims. It's not easy facing this evil. It’s what we do with the pain that defines who we are in this war. You can shy away from it and retreat back into your comfort zone or… you can use it to drive deeper your desire to see this evil brought down.
Remember Mars Hill in Acts 17? I bring this up as I see it as an example to highlight the reactions people have when faced with the truth. (Paul…btw… is a great example of someone that refused to be in any comfort zone when it came to the truth.) Here’s a quick synopsis Mars Hill in Acts for those of you that have red pilled concerning politics but know little of the scripture. (Which is an indication your Awakening is far from over.) Paul rolls into Athens, Greece having been sent their by the brethren of Berea over a legitimate concern for Paul’s safety after the Hebrews (NOT Jews!) of Thessalonica that rejected Christ traveled to Berea for the sole purpose of agitating the people there concerning Paul. His two top assistants stayed behind but after arriving in Athens, but Paul sends word via the brethren that escorted him for Silas and Timotheus to come to him in Athens upon their return to Berea. While waiting for them Paul “saw the city wholly given to idolatry.” So much so there was a law in that city forbidding any new god be introduced. But in an attempt to cover the bases, there was an alter dedicated there in the city “to the unknown god.” Did he wait for his assistants to arrive before he took it on? No! He got after it. With the Hebrews in the synagogue and in the streets with the gentiles (unbelievers) he confronted it. When some of the philosophers of the city ran across him, they thought he was introducing a new god as they had never heard before what he was sharing with the people. When Paul was brought to Mars Hill to give an account of his preaching Jesus and the resurrection of the dead, he opens with his observation that the city is… well, the KJV says “too superstitious” but the Greek word for that is deisidaimonesteros, which more accurately means, “more religiously disposed than others.” (As Bullinger writes in the Companion Bible side note, “The A.V. rendering is too rude, and Paul had too much tact to begin by offending his audience.”) And then ties the true God to their “unknown god” and what He did with and through his only begotten (genetic) son. What was the result of this wonderful message Paul gave to the city of Athens on Mars Hill that day?
- And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
- So Paul departed from among them.
- Howbeit certain men *clave (*joined) unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysuys the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
- Acts 17:32 – 34 KJV
(Biblical Research Note: Italicized words in the KJV are italicized to let the reader know that word was added by the translators and therefore can be deleted without touching the written record.)
This is common when presenting the truth with others. Many may hear but it’s always only a handful that might believe to the point of being willing to change their thinking (repent) and wanting more. And fewer yet willing to rise up to leadership roles. To expect everyone to believe as you do immediately is immature. And brings forth impatience. As I’ve been saying for years, it takes all kinds to make up a world. You have to let people be people and give them time to grow. We are planting seeds with the words we speak concerning truth. Seed take time to develop into… whatever it is! To grow, to mature to the point of bringing forth its own fruit. As we’ve learned from our Lord Jesus Christ.
- The sower soweth the word.
- And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
- And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
- And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are *offended. (*caused to stumble)
- And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
- And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
- And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
- Mark 4:14 - 22 KJV
(Biblical Research Note: Notice the figure of speech polysendeton. Many ands.)
So I would recommend to the warriors out there that may feel disheartened, like we’re losing ground with the hesitation or quitting of others… whether they be newbies or veterans… not be discouraged by the acts of others. You are responsible for yourself. Remain at your post. Focus on the mission you’ve accepted. I do. Or my best to. I didn’t feel like pounding this post out this morning. Today would have been my firstborn’s 37th birthday. Had she not committed suicide ten years ago. I feel like the cold, grey overcast skies we have here in east Tennessee this morning. But any true warrior knows… and… we see Paul’s example… as well as the example of the greatest warrior amongst us all in our Lord Christ in the written Word… it don’t matter how you feel when it comes to helping others. That is an expression of agape love to others when you bless others when you aren’t. (But you are.) To love regardless of how one feels is testament to one’s growth. Love is patient. To those that become impatient perhaps it’s more of an indication of how you need to build agape in your hearts. You can do it. And you will, should you choose to pursue it. We don’t base our lives on our feelings. We base our lives on the written standard of God’s Word. Don’t you quit on us and God! Once enlightened there is no turning back. It is time for some to dig in… to build genuine spiritual strength. Not based on denominational religious traditional superstitious doctrines. But by reading and thinking God’s Word for yourself! But I’ll warn any novice biblical research student now… the more you become like Christ, the more the world will hate you. Choose you this day. Buckle up buttercup! Learn to put on the full armor of God that you might take your stand on God’s wonderful Word. Your stand against evil is a by-product of your stand on God’s Word. I pray for those that struggle with the truth. For the newbies and especially the veterans in The Great Awakening movement. May God strengthen us all with His grace through his son Jesus Christ as we wait for his return for us… in service… to Him.
