Death. Is there anything that's been more feared by men and women through out all time? All we really know about it from our perception is that up to this point, it happens to everything that survives birth, spawn or germination. It seems a tragedy that there has to be a final end to anything with life... And to look at it from a human point of view... especially us! These bodies we've got come designed with the best brain "evolved" and are just way cool! (It does seem something's missing though. Hmm....) But, absolutely everything in this physical realm has a beginning point and an ending point. At this point in our existence? We just happen to be somewhere in between ours!
The fear of death has been used rather successfully through out history by kingdoms, religions and governments in many cultures world wide to control people from the individual to the masses, ranging anywhere from crime prevention to ideology. The ultimate mind control tactic! And it works so well cuz no one in their right mind really wants to die. Unless of course of old age and in your sleep. We got stuff ta do! Rather ironic, wouldn't you agree?... that we live so surrounded by death. The final result of a violent crime, sickness, disease, hunger, thirst, accident, exposure or our bodies just wear out! It's always out there. Death is just waiting for us... waiting to put its fatal bite on us and to sting those left behind who love us. Death is the one thing that literally sucks the life out of you. And it is oh-so-patient too! We know it. We know one day it'll be our turn to succumb to the inevitable. To bare our throat for death's fatal bite. How do we do it? How do we truly enjoy this existence knowing its going to end? Death sucks!
Well... for one thing, We ain't got much time. Why waste it belly achin'?! Look ya'll. Death's been conquered. Those of us who believe the rightly divided Word of God see that death is not worthy of fearing. It's the way things are in this existence, this physical realm. All life sooner or later dies. Say it with me now, That's just... the way... it is! There is a realm that man cannot perceive with the 5 senses alone. Since this man of the 5 senses, this natural man, can't experience this realm because of the limitations of the 5 senses he's come to rely on, he cannot "see" what's really going on. This natural man can however perceive that realm when it is manifested on the physical plane. When a power source outside this realm energizes and impacts the natural realm. This realm is on a "higher plane" so to say in that is supernatural. The laws that make up life in this realm would be found wanting to that of the supernatural in comparison. The building blocks of this natural realm (this realm at the atomic level) in which you exist is but a mere toy kit of building blocks to this supernatural realm. This supernatural realm I refer to is what the truth of God's Word teaches us to be the spirit realm. What the Word of God many times (in context) refers to as "heaven". It's in this heaven, this spiritual realm, where God, spirit beings (categorized in God's Word as angels and devils) and this physical realm exist. Being born into this realm with only our fives senses to rely on puts us at a tremendous disadvantage. One major disadvantage of being born into this realm? Death.
Most "Christians" I've been exposed to really don't appear to have a clue about death. How do I know? They contradict the Truth of God's Word with the words they express concerning the subject! When someone dies tragically and/or before one's time most will be honest in that they will say they don't know but they can't seem to leave it at that. These believers... wonderful-hearted, tax paying folks I'm sure, will offer condolences laced with good intentions but based on ignorance. Ignorance taught to them by religion. (Man made forms of worship. By it's very definition it is the exact opposite of "godliness." If you haven't read Perceptions or it's been a while I suggest you read that sometime soon to perhaps deepen your understanding of this. Maybe go over the Biblical Research Principals page too!) The most common phrases I've heard through the years and had thrown at me too go like, "God needed another angel in heaven," or "Your loved one is in a better place now", or "God works in mysterious ways". Well if you don't already know let me assure you... NO HE DOESN'T AND WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING?!! These same people that say they believe God when He tells His people and all mankind in His Word that He is love... That he is light and in him is no darkness at all are willing to swallow that this same God "needed another angel in heaven" so he killed your loved one? And much too young at that! I am here to tell you you are mistaken. You have been deceived. You have been lied to. It would behoove you... if you truly care... to develop your biblical knowledge. Which is the only thing that will root out the religious dogma thrown at us since surviving birth! Replacing error with truth in your mind... changing your thinking to truth... is what "repent" means. Repent! God gave us His Word. It ain't His fault people are ignorant! But this is where those of little or no believing get weeded out. You have to want to know. You have to put the time into study. You have to change your mind to think Truth! Check it out!
Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Read I'm told at many funerals. They make it sound like God is waiting with open arms in great anticipation for you to die! At the expense of the pain and sorrow suffered by those left behind! That is NOT a god of love! The confusion lies within the word "precious." Maybe it translated well for them at the time of translation from the Hebrew to Middle Age English but it could have been intentional in that those translating many times attempted to solidify their own personal religious overtones by the way they translated some words. A better translation for our understanding today of the word precious in this verse would be "costly". Costly in the sight of the Lord is the death of one of His saints! (One of His own) Why?! Because they're dead! There is absolutely no living existence in either plane of a dead human other than one. That one being Jesus Christ. He is the one that overcame death. A part of his hope given to him of his Father God by way of the Old Testament. God's Word up to that time. Jesus Christ proved that a man could overcome the world (insert religion here) by successfully living the law of the Old Testament and be worthy of a full, spiritual relationship with God in the face of physical death if he succeeded. What did Jesus do?! He overcame the fear of death focused on His Father's Word. A death which he knowingly would (and did) suffer horribly. What kept him focused? The promise of God to him that he would be raised three days afterwards. Incorruptible. The ability to exist in the spiritual realm... in "heaven." He conquered death! And in doing so opened up the spiritual realm as much as could be made available to God's people in this physical realm. And! He ushered in this period of time in which we live. That which God's Word refers to as "The Grace Administration." Where the great mystery is revealed! This Grace Administration terminates when His people... His sons and daughters through out this period of time of the mystery revealed, receive our promise of death overcome and our existence begins in the spiritual realm. In heaven!
God does not want us, His people, ignorant of these issues concerning this life and eventual death. He has given His Word to His people and has made His Word available to the world. Quoting scripture here, But I would not have you to be ignorant brethren, (see?!) concerning them which are asleep, (a gentle term here for dead) that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive, and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. -I Thessalonians 4:13 - 18 Those that are of God's Household, born again of His spirit will overcome death at this future event. We are encouraged that we need not sorrow for the loss of loved ones that are of God's Household as the unbelievers do, having no hope. Those without spiritual sonship have no promise of overcoming death to them nor to exist in the spiritual realm. They will be resurrected (not the same as gathered) but at the judgements (future from the gathering.) The judgements that we are spared being found worthy of existing with God. In His realm! In His Kingdom! Simply because we believe that Jesus Christ sacrificed his physical existence by his own free will to fulfill what no other could. He lived and fulfilled the O.T. law, was found without blame and was rewarded by the world with death. But was also rewarded life by God! Resurrection for perfect service even in the face of death. This one section of scripture should shoot down the "when you die you go to heaven" deception that's so prevalent amongst Christians. Think about it! If everybody "goes to heaven" when they die, why did the Promised One haf'ta wait 3 days?! And why would his resurrection be such a big deal?! If the dead are already alive there would be no need for Jesus Christ to gather them up. There would also be no need for the resurrections. C'mon!
One of the things that irritate me most is these ignorant "Christians" blaming God for death. I realize they were taught this but they pass this lie on every time they repeat it which just aids the god of this world in his attempt to squelch Truth. II Corinthians 4:4 In whom (those that don't make it into heaven) the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not... It's lazy on their part in that I suppose it's easier to swallow a lie than put any effort into actually confirming it for themselves. I'm so thankful I only had to deal with one religious person's ignorance along these lines when my son died. I wouldn't have gotten so rough with her either but she just kept saying the stupid, religious crap after I told her, in a gentle way at first I assure you, what she was telling me was a lie and she was committing blasphemy with those statements. This came up a couple of weeks ago on an "inspirational" Facebook page that I was connected to. The page's author posted a terrible story of how a beautiful 8 year old girl died and made the same stupid comment so many also did. "God has another beautiful angel in heaven." Those are not words of comfort people! They are lies and the ones repeating it are being used by the god of this world to keep folks in the dark concerning the truth about death! As much as it still hurts when this anniversary comes around and I have to realize another year has passed without my son I do take comfort as God's Word tells me to... in knowing I will see him again when this administration ends and we receive the promise of death conquered. Until then... I'm doing what I can to get the Truth out!
